This will be our third time saying in Kona and our third different place. We travel with family who stay at another place, so that is four different places that we've experienced. This by far has been the most incredible Kona experience that we have ever had. The pool area is fantastic. The pool area is like a incredible resort. Hello is one of my favorite pictures I took of the resort of the pool resort area. The ocean is behind me. The unit we stayed in was absolutely beautiful very clean Karma the beds were so comfortable and the grounds were gorgeous. We had a ocean view Lanai and it was breathtaking. The inside of our unit was extremely clean and was filled with so many things that we did not have to buy. I would recommend this resort to anybody who's looking for a beautiful vacation in Hawaii.

Great location and views. Unit itself was a bit tired with stained carpet, master tv did not work, dirty shower glass, shower door that was off the track, master curtains were 2 feet too narrow (didn't cover window which was strange). We arrived at 6:30 pm to find out nobody was there to check in. The codes were sent to spam which I understand was my problem for not finding but nobody answered the front desk number provided to let us in (no after hour emergency contact). 6:30pm to me is pretty reasonable to expect somebody to be available. Eventually I got a hold of somebody from the reservation office to help us, but it was really dark and kind of kicked off the vacation in a bad way. Lastly, the description said beach towels were provided which is not true. Pool towels could not be removed and there were no beach towels in unit. So for the good stuff, location was amazing and was the view. The pool and club were also amazing and the kids loved it. The people we met working at the resort were all very nice. There are a lot of options in area of the island so I might look at some other options next time.

Such a beautiful location. The ocean club is beyond compare. The lagoon style pool at the ocean‘s edge is beautiful. The staff at the ocean clever excellent. We loved working out in the mornings at the Hale. We were surprised about the calmness. The bar is also really great especially in the evening hours as you watch the sunset. We were treated to live music tonight that was spectacular!

This is our second time at haliikai. The condos are great. Have a nice layout and very well appointed. I wish I had spent a little more money and got a water view. Our condo (19e) was quite a walk from our parking spot. Other than that, we love Halii Kai pool, restaurant, bar - Pua, came around with ice water when at the pool. She is the sweetest!! Halii Kai has tennis courts, pickle ball & basketball courts. Our condo had beach towels, raquets, pool noodles, boogie boards and a nicely stocked kitchen. Very clean, nice furniture. My only negative was the parking and no water view from our condo.

My friends had already booked their trip, so we agreed to stay there to be with them, I booked through Expedia and were treated like second class. I tried to upgrade my room and was not given any options but a town home that was much more without any accommodation for what I already spent on my room. The bamboo shades and drapes on the window were transparent. When I reported it, I was told that they were not, and did nothing about it. I did not say they were made of clear glass, but you can see people inside the home when you are outside at night, and they are inside with the light on. We did not feel like we had privacy. My 14-year-old daughter stayed in the front room, and you can see her walking around and you can tell there is a woman in there. Some of the office staff were a bit rude. My friends experienced the rudeness as well so I know it wasn't just my experience.

Lovely accomodation and very well kept grounds. The view from the pool and restaurant at night and su set is amazing. Very quiet and peaceful if that's what your looking for. On a next visit we would probably look for something closer to bigger selection of bars and restaurants, that said lovely location and well kept.

This is an amazing place. I absolutely would like to return someday. The value for the money renting a condo versus a resort hotel room is much better. This property is highly recommended.

We stayed at Halii Kai rental unit 12A before Christmas and it was heaven on earth. The grounds welcomed us like a warm hug as we arrived. Extremely welcoming and the true spirit of Aloha, as everything was well appointed and manicured. The condo itself was amazing. I stay at Ritz Carlton and they have nothing on this unit. The view was spectacular and allowed us to whale watch from the patio. The owner had great binoculars in the unit, and it was fantastic. The well appointed kitchen saved us so much money, the beds were comfortable, and the AC was frigid. Everything, no everything, you could ever want or need was there. From snorkel gear, to coolers for the beach, to beach towels-chairs- umbrellas and more, we wanted for nothing. The price we paid was so worth it that I did not want to post a review, but the owners deserve it. I booked through kbm and not the other popular travel site, and am glad I did. It was a stellar experience that I would not trade for anything. The unit is a 1 minute walk from the pool, and the restaurant was amazing too.
